Regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO)

The principle of Megaunity’s RTO is to heat the organic waste gas to more than 760℃, so that the VOCs in the waste gas oxidation decomposition into CO₂ and H₂O. The high temperature gas generated by oxidation flows through the special ceramic heat accumulator, making the ceramic heat up and "heat storage". The "heat storage" is used to preheat the incoming organic waste gas (the heat recovery efficiency is up to 95%), thus saving fuel consumption of exhaust gas heating. The ceramic regenerative body should be divided into two or more zones or chambers. Each chamber in turn gets through the process of regenerative heat - exothermic heat - purge, repeat and continuous work. After the "heat release" of the regenerator, part of the qualified clean gas should be introduced immediately to purge the regenerator. The equipment adopts new ceramic heat storage body and special structure design. It has the characteristics of high heat recovery, high treatment efficiency, small footprint, stable operation and high safety. It can handle all kinds of VOCs of medium and high concentration, and can also be combined with other waste gas treatment processes.
